Safe storage of gas cylinders

We all know that LPG cylinders can be extremely dangerous if not stored properly, as most of the gas stored in LPG cylinders is flammable and explosive.

So how do we store and use steel cylinders correctly?

1. The steel cylinder must be kept upright, and it is strictly forbidden to use it horizontally or upside down. The distance between the cylinder and the gas appliance should not be less than 0.5m, the length of the rubber hose between the cylinder and the stove should not exceed 2 meters, and it should not be in the same space as other open flames at the same time.

2. It is strictly forbidden to expose the steel cylinder to the sun, do not put the steel cylinder in a place where the temperature is too high, do not put the steel cylinder near an open flame, and do not bake the steel cylinder with an open fire.

3. It is strictly forbidden to place steel cylinders in closed low cabinets, and the air circulation at the bottom of the steel cylinders should be ensured.

4. Note that the rubber hose should avoid contact with high-temperature objects and heat radiation. Generally, the rubber hose should be replaced every two years.
